We are seeking a highly skilled Website Performance Manager to oversee website performance and align our digital presence with RAC's brand, strategy, and business standards. You will lead a cross-disciplinary squad to enhance our online presence, improve member and visitor experiences, and support the development of a decentralised web publishing model. Collaboration across the business to achieve impactful solutions and deliver on member and business outcomes is key.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Provide effective leadership to the Member Experience and Design team, aligning with RAC's visionLead, coach, and mentor a cross-disciplinary website performance squad.Represent and participate as a member of the Member Experience and Design leadership teamPartner across Marketing, cross functional support teams and senior leadership to shape the online experience for visitors and membersHandle logistics and relationships with external partners and vendorsLead the design and implementation of a website strategy for the RAC website and other relevant microsites in alignment with RAC strategy, user experience, and business prioritiesDevelop and implement a long-term delivery roadmap to manage migration to a new content management systemIdentify and implement opportunities to enhance website function, design, and content, leveraging user feedback, research, and other relevant dataOversee the design of website content to ensure alignment with strategy and relevant brand, design, and business guidelinesGovern the website and content management system, developing and championing good practices including experience design, content, and engineeringProvide strategic advice to leaders and teams, represent RAC in various forums, and ensure timely delivery of inputs into other planning processes

What we are looking for?

Significant experience leading the execution of web strategy and designDeep technical expertise and practical experience in web development and related web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptSkilled in balancing technical needs and requirements with business objectives and consulting with stakeholders on shaping and scoping key initiativesExtensive team management and leadership skills, including career development and coaching of engineering, UX, and content management team leads and membersExperience partnering cross-functionally across marketing, internal stakeholders, vendors, and agency partnersStrong storyteller and effective communicator with the ability to convey key messages and outcomesExperience with major CMS platforms, UI and design, analytics, and monitoring tools (e.g., Contentful, Figma)Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline or equivalent experience are desiredCertification in Agile or similar is desirable
