About the role:

As the Digital Product Owner – Website, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing our website strategy. You will manage the website development backlog, organise, and prioritise website content management, and optimise the digital sales funnel to enhance the customer journey from prospect research to product selection and checkout.

In this role, you’ll be:

  • owning the Alinta Energy public website (AEM) backlog and manage the BAU CRO backlog
  • leading the end-to-end development processes to represent the business and customer and remove obstacles and blockers to deliver value
  • collaborating with cross functional teams including legal, marketing and product
  • leading the prioritisation and refinement of website and sales funnel initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals and objectives
  • managing the customer-facing website to effectively convey Alinta’s brand values and proposition, increasing awareness among both potential and existing customers

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

  • proven experience in digital content platforms (AEM) as a Product Manager or Product Owner in an agile digital environment
  • strong influencing, storytelling, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver against target outcomes
  • natural resilience and confidence to work in a fast placed and complex environment
  • proven experience in collaborating with a cross-functional team to successfully drive strategic and tactical digital-first customer experiences
  • retail experience, particularly digital-first business would be highly advantageous
