About the role:

In this role, you will be managing and driving the planning and delivery of cost optimisation and business improvement initiatives for the Technology portfolio. Communicate alignment of initiatives with the Technology strategic roadmap and objectives to executive and senior level stakeholders. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Help key stakeholders understand the objectives of key cost optimisation and business improvements initiatives. 
  • Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes within technology operations within our permanent as well as partner services. Additionally partner with our business to identify opportunity to optimise the supply chain, including inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment. 
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments, including operations, IT, finance, and procurement, to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives and track progress towards
  • Builds trust with key stakeholders. 
  • Protect and enhance Coles’ reputation with customers, stakeholders, regulators, and media. 
  • Accountable for personal and team compliance with internal company policies, procedures and codes, e.g., Code of Conduct, and all applicable external laws, regulations, standards and industry codes e.g. Fair trading Laws 
  • Commitment to the corporate and or relevant Brand/ Retail Support Compliance Program 
  • Integration of compliance requirements into team performance review

About you and your skills:

  • At least 5 years’ experience with Business Transformation, Service Improvement or Business Improvement projects.  Technology environment is highly preferred. 
  • The establishment of template, reports, and other tools to increase efficiencies, transparency and delivery excellence related to optimising costs.  
  • Planning and tracking business cases, tracking benefits and communicating progress  
  • A passionate people leader who has indirectly lead members from diverse disciplines and backgrounds, running in multi speed and cadence delivery methods. 
  • Expert interpersonal skills and leadership capabilities that enable you to communicate and manage relationships across all levels throughout the organisation.
  • Experience using metrics to measure, influence and initiate change and behaviours that directly impact customer success. 
  • The ability to tell a story, ensuring you can translate complex technical solutions and advice into clear, specific information that is understood. 
  • Experience managing relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
