Simplot are seeking applicants for the position(s) of Field Services Administrator to join our Raw Procurement division based at our Ulverstone manufacturing facility. Raw Procurement comprises farming and harvesting operations to support our annual sourcing of 450,000 tonnes of potatoes and vegetables in addition to leading innovative R&D activities throughout Australia and beyond.
Reporting to the Agricultural Manager or Seed Manager (position dependent), these Mon-Fri positions (day work only) will provide focused & general administrative support to the wider Raw Procurement (Ulverstone) team by collaboratively partnering with both internal & external stakeholders in ensuring business support requirements are met (& exceeded).
Working as part of a busy, operationally focused team - duties for both opportunities may include (but are not limited to);
- Liaising with external growers for enquiries
- Processing of crop & seed grower payments
- Coordinating PO requests & receipting of POs
- Administrate seed inventory program
- Field Officer support
- Maintaining quality documents within Simplot's QMS (Reliance)
- Trimble Ag administrative support
- Data entry, analysis & reporting
- Maintaining of, and contributing to development of database / systems
- Coordination and maintenance of training records
- Organising of grower events
- Calendar management
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Facilitating group visits
- 100% commitment to health & safety in the workplace
- Demonstrated experience with a busy administrative role (3 years minimum) - Admin related agricultural experience would be beneficial
- Customer service mindset with the ability to liaise with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Possess a high attention to detail with outstanding organisational skill set
- Intermediate user of the MS Office suite of products - namely MS Excel, Outlook, Word
- Proactive in working methods
- Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical (incl. urine based drug & alcohol screening)
