About the opportunity

You will be part of the Community Mental Health Team. This is a recovery focused multi-disciplinary team who provides recovery clinical service to people who live within the municipalities of, Hobson's Bay and Maribyrnong. In addition to experiencing significant mental illness/ mental health problems consumers have other health and psycho social needs that significantly impact their wellbeing

•You will work with consumers, their carers and other service providers to develop and facilitate comprehensive treatment plans.

•You will work within a recovery focus team providing evidence-based practice & interventions as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary community team

•You will also support and be supported by a multidisciplinary team.

  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.

  • A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.

  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

  • A willingness to provide support and supervision to junior staff and students

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychiatric Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Psychologist with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist. Or you are a Social Worker eligible for registration with AASW.

    • Have a full Australian Drivers License (not P Plates)

    You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

    • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

    • Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.

    • Current Australian full Driver's license
