**The opportunity**

Due to growth and recognition from the business on the importance of caring for people and country, we now have a new Consultant, Health & Wellbeing position available. Reporting into the Manager, HSEQ Programs and Excellence you will contribute towards the continuous development and improvement of a sustainable, positive health and wellbeing experience for all our employees.

You will provide tactical case management support to team members with a range of work related and personal injuries/illnesses/health conditions, whilst also collaboratively working to prevent illness and injury through targeted risk management programs, health promotion activities and training.

This role can be performed on a part-time (3 days minimum) or full-time basis with the choice to compress five days into four. We embrace a hybrid working model where you can work from home, at Footscray and Sunbury offices whilst also travel to GWW water treatment plants and maintenance depots to support the teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide stay and return to work support services to GWW team members. The case load is varied; personal and work-related injuries, illness and health conditions.
- Contribute to the development of internal procedures and education collateral to build the capability and literacy of leaders and employees regarding best practice health and wellbeing.
- Support the design and implementation of proactive health and wellbeing projects, including content development, facilitation, and evaluation.
- Promotion and coordination of Occupational Health activity, such as audiometry, vaccinations, and other proactive occupational health assessments.
- Support the delivery of health, safety, environment and quality initiatives or projects, including support on risk assessment and control effectiveness.

**Skills & Experience**
- You are an occupational rehabilitation or allied health practitioner managing return to work cases from an employer, an occupational rehabilitation organisation or an insurer.
- As our customers and our people are at the heart of what we do, you will have the charisma to build personable and professional relationships quickly and effectively.
- Proven knowledge and experience working within Victorian workers compensation legislation to ensure obligation are met and exceeded.
- Good organisational ability and experience in multi-tasking and meeting targets
- **Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety &/or Allied Health**:

- **Full driver’s license as you will be driving to GWW water treatment plants and maintenance depots.**
