The opportunity

To join an established Payroll Team and assist with the maintenance of all employee information and data in relation to the payroll process.

Key responsibilities

The major accountabilities for the role of Payroll Administrator are:

  • Complete new employee set-up.
  • Maintaining employee records.
  • Processing employee data relating to worked hours.
  • Payroll queries.
  • Employee verification and reporting requests.
  • Finalise terminations.

About you

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and obtained the following qualifications:

    • Demonstrated payroll experience in maintaining large volume payroll processing and ensure accurate information is recorded.
    • Demonstrated understanding in award interpretation to provide reliable advice and support to the organisation.
    • Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to Business Unit
    • Ability to research and respond to queries in an effective and timely manner.
    • Well-developed communications skills (written, verbal and listening) to respond appropriately to queries and provide advice to Business Unit Manager and Employees.
    • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
