We are excited to launch two brand-new corporate flagship concept stores, in Bondi Junction and QVB which takes the current NSW corporate owned store portfolio to 6. 

Role Overview: The role will take ownership of the performance and operations of all Hairhouse corporate stores in NSW, inspiring and empowering the teams to deliver exceptional standards. The Area Manager is pivotal in optimizing store performance, and leading best practice across retail, salon and piercing. We are looking for an inspiring, solutions focused leader who has previous experience managing multiple stores to a high standard and proven success growing store performance. This role has the potential to expand into a national role.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Leadership: Inspire, motivate, and empower store managers and their teams to achieve targets and maintain high operational standards.
  • Store Performance: Monitor and analyse all store operations and performance metrics, implement solutions and strategies to drive sales, including supporting national and local marketing programs.
  • Customer Experience: Champion exceptional customer service standards, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring a consistently positive customer experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive best practice store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Training & Development: Inspire and empower the store teams with ongoing training, coaching and support, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Customer Engagement: Create an inclusive and exceptional customer journey in every interaction, offering personalized, expert advice and exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated flair for building a high-performance culture and creating a world class customer experience in the stores they oversee, with a solutions focused, positive, and high energy attitude.
  • 3+ years’ experience as an Area Manager in the Hair, Beauty, or Fashion Industry overseeing 5+ retail stores, with a track record of driving sales and leading high performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, sales strategies, and customer service principles.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
