About the company
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a State Government Agency to engage 2 x Health & Safety Advisors.This position is located in their busy Sydney office for an initial 3 and 6 month contract.

Duties

  • Maintain the SM Safety Management Plans (SMP), standards and procedures
  • Support as required, the Corporate Safety Representative
    Provide health and safety consulting services including specialist rail safety advice
  • Develop and administer health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provide independent verification of health and safety and risk reports / assessments
  • Provide specialised input to health and safety training
  • Play a positive role in supporting the organisational safety culture

Requirements/Skills

  • Must be willing to travel to site 
  • Must have drivers licence  
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience 
  • Have experience working in a construction site (Mandatory)
