About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join The Women’s and Babies Services as a Senior Finance Business Manager where you will be responsible for:

  • Report to the Financial Business Director and provide support to Divisional Directors, Women’s and Babies Services, and the Local Health Network.
  • Offer expert business advice and analysis to Divisional Directors to achieve patient care and business objectives.
  • Support the achievement of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic and operational deliverables for Women’s and Babies.
  • Assist with operational service delivery and workforce management.
  • Oversee financial performance, including budget setting and financial control over facilities, equipment, and assets.
  • Manage risk, contracts, and interpret activity data.
  • Analyze reports to assist Divisional Directors in activity commissioning.
  • Contribute to project management and the development and monitoring of the Division’s savings initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An appropriate Degree or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Economics or related financial/business management field majoring in accounting
  • Highly developed analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to develop sound management reports
  • Financial management skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to function in an environment of dynamic change and financial constraint
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Demonstrated experience in financial/Budget management
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of health services financial reports
