HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced APS6 Level Strategic Communications Officer for a dynamic role in SURRY HILLS SYDNEY NSW.
Lead, strategise, and communicate effectively to support key initiatives.

About the Role:
The APS6 Level Strategic Communications Officer is a key leadership position responsible for providing strategic communications advice and support within a team environment.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating exceptional organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Championing plain English and ensuring all collateral is accessible and aligns with our client's style and branding guidelines.
  • Leading by example as a trusted communications expert, helping internal stakeholders and business partners achieve project objectives.
  • Drafting clear, concise, and effective messaging for different audiences, including talking points and speeches.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of communication plans, progressing approvals, and coordinating go-live collateral.
  • Identifying and developing important internal stakeholder relationships and addressing any emerging challenges.
  • Evaluating the impact of communications and identifying future learning to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Supporting team members with administrative, technical, and procedural tasks.
