Are you a natural leader with a knack for technical problem-solving? Do you come from an electrical or mechanical background with knowledge of industrial machinery? Have you led installation and maintenance of within the manufacturing sector?

If so, this is your chance to take charge of an experienced team and grow your career within a highly successful and market leading business. You will be given extensive product specific training and exposure to a wide variety of projects so you can technically get up to speed. Ongoing you will enjoy the variety of leading a team, managing work-flow and getting hands-on where needed with major projects. No day is the same, so if you've been based at one site day to day, you will enjoy the change. 

The Job: 

  • Recruit, train, and mentor Field Service & Workshop Technicians.
  • Oversee installation projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance activities, ensuring s and present performance metrics to senior management.
  • Resolve technical challenges and support your team in decision-making to exceed customer expectations.
  • Balance time between the workshop and client sites where needed. 
  • Continuously refine processes to boost efficiencies and team engagement.


Skills & Other Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in technical leadership or management.
  • Strong communication and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid project management experience.
  • Technical expertise in electrical or mechanical (or both) installation and maintenance within a manufacturing / industrial environment. 
  • Tertiary or trade qualification in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.  
  • This position could also appeal to a range of backgrounds, including a qualified engineer who could offer additional capability to the position i.e. analysis, design and commissioning of client solutions.
