About You:
You are a forward thinking and dynamic business & technology transformation professional who has demonstrated experience in:
- Delivering and implementing systems integration and data/information within complex organisations
- Leading complex transformations, with either ERP or CAD Projects
- Hands on experience procuring and negotiating off the shelf technologies and working with vendors
- Leading and holding teams accountable to operate in a highly agile environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management and engagement skills with the ability to bring them along the journey
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead and manage a team in the development, implementation and enhancement of department operational and corporate business information systems, enterprise applications, databases, business intelligence and reporting tools to ensure leverage of the latest technologies and ICT service models across the organisation
- Lead the design, implementation and evaluation of multiple software development projects, ensuring that appropriate procedures, processes, tools and staffing levels are in place for all system implementations to enable integration of existing and emerging software with minimal disruption to business service delivery
- Lead and manage governance of information and the development and promotion of strategy, policies and procedures covering the design of information structures and taxonomies and maintenance of the data content to comply with legislation requirements
- Establish and implement monitoring and evaluation processes to identify current and future IT operational system needs, consulting with a wide range of stakeholders about current and future infrastructure requirements to develop solutions that meet business goals and requirements
- Develop and communicate stringent and compliant policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) in line with whole-of-Government and Department directives along with agency goals and requirements to ensure consistent, high quality IT system application including accurate, relevant data warehousing
- Prepare and provide technically complex advice, recommendations and documentation including specifications, business and strategic plans and reports, to management and the executive team to enable informed strategic IT decision making across the organisation
