St Paul's Catholic College, Manly is currently seeking a strong administrator for the role of Precinct Services Officer. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Presents an image of welcome for all visitors to the Precinct /College
  • Assists with the preparation of internal and external publications.
  • Assists with the coordination of Precinct/College functions and events.
  • Manages the ordering of stationery.
  • Complete electronic filing/scanning of all records attached to the duties in this position description.
  • Ensures a tidy and professional presentation of the foyer and administration area.
  • Provides administrative support in order to ensure an effective and efficient administration office.
  • Assists to schedule appointments for staff and provide administrative support as directed.
  • Fulfils the role for emergency procedures as outlined in the Emergency Management Plan.
  • Maintains student health information displays, medical action plans and the administration of medication as per College policy.
  • Carry out the duties of the Primary First Aid Officer for the College including but not limited to, managing the sickbay, ensure all first aid kits are stocked to WorkCover specifications and the First Aid room is maintained appropriately as per College policy.
  • Handles all telephone and email enquiries professionally and redirect calls/emails to the appropriate Precinct and College staff.
  • Manages the visitor attendance register and ensuring compliance with family access, court orders and duty of care obligations.

This is a newly created role designed to provide support and service to staff, students and the general school community. The scope of projects and tasks performed by Services Officer varies widely from providing a warm, friendly and professional welcome for visitors in the reception areas to coordinating administrative tasks for special events and functions across the Precinct and College. The Services Officer is required to provide professional and efficient customer service, work with a positive frame of mind, engage in a team approach, communicate information accurately to key stakeholders and complete tasks readily and reliably.

Position on COVID-19 vaccinations

Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022. Staff who are not vaccinated will be required to wear masks when working with children at greater risk of serious illness owing to a medical condition and/or physical disability.
