But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly 3000 people and operate a fleet of over 2300
We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Based at our Gladstone Depot we are seeking a reliable and experienced Administration Assistant.
You will have the ability to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. Have excellent problem solving and time management, plus demonstrate high level customer service skills.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to our employees and reliability to our customers.
This position is a permanent, full-time, depot based Monday to Friday role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day duties of Administration
- Using existing procedures and processes within the company
- Working within a timely manner to ensure work is completed efficiently and with high quality
- Other general administration duties as requested by the Administration Manager
- Ability to apply own initiative in working within the bounds of allocated responsibilities and role.
- High level of knowledge and practical operational experience
- Ability to support the operations in matters such as, rescheduling and service booking
- Willing to travel and stay overnight in Gladstone approximately once monthly (at the request of the Administration Manager)
- Other administration support duties as requested
ABOUT YOU
- Experience as an Administration Assistant / Administrator
- Strong understanding of accounting principals
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A commitment to achieving customer service of the highest standard
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Advanced knowledge of the Windows Office Suite, particularly Excel, would be advantageous
- Experience in transport, logistics or service industry - highly regarded but not essential
