Details: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Collections and Sites to join the Galleries, Museum and Heritage team at the Cultural Facilities Corporation. You will be leading the Collection Management team in the coordination, development, delivery and implementation of preventative conservation, conservation, collection management, exhibition preparation and registration functions for the collections and heritage sites within Canberra Museum and Gallery, Lanyon Homestead, Mugga Mugga Cottage, Calthorpes House and the Nolan Collection.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with museum collections and exhibitions at different locations across Canberra. You’ll be an organised, multi-tasker who enjoys working in a high-performing team and being involved in a creative, dynamic environment.

You will need to have a passion for the Visual Arts, Design, Heritage and Social History of the Canberra region, experience working within a fast-paced museum or gallery environment, well-developed project, staff and budget management skills, experience in best practice policy and procedures and be an effective verbal and written communicator to work professionally with a range of stakeholders.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements

Experience working in ACT Government would be welcome but not essential.
