Collection Lead

About the Role
The Collection Lead will be responsible for the management of a designated area of Accredited Collection Centres (ACC) and the coordination of day-to-day operations. This will involve providing leadership to a team of pathology collectors, ensuring the delivery of a high standard of clinical and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of pathology collectors, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to fulfill their roles to a high quality.
- Work with stakeholders, including Collection Trainers, Area Managers, and senior management, to ensure designated ACC sites meet all People & Culture, Workplace Health & Safety requirements, and relevant accreditation standards.
- Identify new or improved opportunities and processes to enhance organisational strategy and implement changes as needed.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with team members, stakeholders, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
About You
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- A sound knowledge of and experience in the pathology industry, with at least 5 years' experience as a Pathology Collector.
- Proven ability and experience in leading teams, with a track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt your style based on the needs of the audience.
- Able to summarise information and required actions into simple, concise terms that your team can understand.
- Certificate 3 in Pathology Collection (including AS4308 - Drugs of Abuse collections) and a Full Driver's Licence.
