The role

We are looking for a Retail Management Accountant to join our team. At Crown Resorts we are currently undergoing a transformation to increase our offering to our guests. As part of this we are expanding our retail offering. This role will have the exciting remit to ensure the finance team has enhanced capability to support this journey. Supporting the Senior Financial Reporting Manager you will be responsible for;

Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial and management reports Conduct budget and forecast analysis to verify and review performance Identifying opportunities in both the retail space and the finance team more broadly to enhance processes and create strategies to successfully implement Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and budgeting Assist with audit requests from the internal audit and completion of external audit requests. Establish working relationships with key operations managers and develop a good understanding of their business drivers and issues

About you

This role is a great opportunity for a passionate Management Accountant that can deliver process improvement and facilitate change. You will have a strong technical accounting background with the ability to communicate effectively across a number of stakeholders. You will also have;

Tertiary Qualification with a CA or CPA qualification Experience in relevant practical accounting preferably in hospitality. Ability and experience to use software and other technology to automate and streamline financial tasks to drive efficiencies Experience in finance transformation or process optimisation reviews and business planning Strong customer focus in a retail/hospitality environment is desirable Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards and their application
