The Role
The newly established Portfolio Management Branch are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to fill multiple APS 6 positions across a variety of directorates.

Each of these positions requires you to have the ability to work in a dynamic and often fast paced environment assisting and driving a number of administrative and reporting duties. In return, you will work within supportive and inclusive teams striving for an excellent workplace culture.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Prioritisation of portfolio activities in alignment with the strategic direction of the Department and priorities of the Group; Development, implementation and ongoing management of a prioritisation model supported by ServiceNow; Delivery of scenario planning to support decision making; Providing analysis of project performance through various reporting artefacts; Interrogate and evaluate data to perform systematic analysis and draw accurate conclusions, identify alternative courses of action to resolve problems; Delivering accurate, timely and high quality analysis and advice, through the provision of regular and ad hoc reporting to the Defence Digital Group Executive; and Support the department in undertaking analysis and shaping advice for senior leaders and colleagues across Defence.
About our Team
 The Portfolio Management Branch (PMB) sits within the Group Operations Division in Defence Digital Group and has been established to strengthen performance across the Group by providing improved reporting and strategic insights to supporting data led decision making.

The Directorate of Prioritisation is responsible for the prioritisation of portfolio activities in alignment with the strategic direction of the Department and priorities of the Group. Within the Directorate of Prioritisation, attendance at governance forums and providing secretariat support of portfolio lead governance is required.

The Directorate of Reporting & Analysis is responsible for providing a number of reporting artefacts to the Defence Digital Executive and Defence Portfolio Ministers, in support of the decision-making across the Defence Digital Portfolio. The team provide insights and recommendations based on the analysis of information, such as strategic projects and programs, and ensure that reporting is accurate, transparent, and truthful, enabling early intervention when required.
