The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Leisure and Lifestyle Team Leader to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will lead and coordinate activities and programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. Your creativity, leadership, and passion for improving the quality of life for seniors will be key to your success.
About You
You will possess a Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or a similar certification. You will provide personalised care to all residents, including those with dementia and challenging behaviours, with a focus on meeting their individual needs and preferences.
Essential:
- Cert III Individual Support /Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with elderly individuals, utilizing appropriate communication strategies to meet their unique needs and preferences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Understanding of WHS principles - including identification & mitigation of venue specific risks
- Current unencumbered Drivers Licence
- Willingness to obtain a bus driver's license and operate the bus as needed.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills and ability to use relevant software programs effectively.
- 2 Recent Managerial Referees
- Police Clearance – we run one for you for free
