The Role
We are seeking an experienced Leisure & Lifestyle Team Leader to join our team in Gunnedah. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activity programs, supervising and mentoring a team, and improving the health and wellbeing of our residents.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience working in Leisure and Lifestyle, with a focus on person-centred care;
- Cert III Individual Support / Cert IV in Leisure & Lifestyle;
- Proven skills and ability to adapt to individual needs to communicate effectively;
- Good understanding of WHS principles to ensure the ongoing safety of our residents;
- Strong people management skills and experience leading a team;
- Proven experience planning and implementing engaging activity programs;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Unrestricted drivers licence;
- Bus licence or willingness to obtain;
- Highly creative and able to think outside the box;
- Passion for making a positive difference in someone's day.
