About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager Commercial (Supply Chain), the Senior Supply Planning Manager is integral to the success of the retail brand sourcing and supply strategies, ensuring alignment with Group and Brand objectives. In this role, you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders and consolidate the brand-led supply plans into a single, executable supply plan.

Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Integrated Business Planning: Provide oversight to the Executive Leadership Team on the shape of Inventory & Capacity Plan to support planned sales.
  • Supply Chain Planning: Lead alignment of brand supply plans to operational capacity through the supply chain network.
  • Scenario Modelling: Review the supply chain long term risks and opportunities and endeavour to manage these prior to brands or operational teams being impacted.
  • Inventory Management: Identify opportunities to optimise brands inventory to deliver cost, service or safety benefits, as well as assist with KPI setting and reporting.

This role is ideally based in Strathpine but we would also be open to candidates who are located in Sydney or Melbourne.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary education in relevant business or supply chain & logistics discipline
  • Extensive Planning experience through Demand, Supply, Merchandise and Inventory, within multi-brand and/or multi-channel retailing or FMCG
  • Proven experience in leading and coaching broad operational teams, preferably working with remote and multi-national teams
  • Experience with forecasting and replenishment systems (JDA/SAP ideally)
  • Understanding of distribution centre and/or warehousing operations, including product flow impacts
  • Significant experience working in retail or FMCG, preferably within a multi-brand, multi-national or complex organisation.

Your ability to manage complex internal and external stakeholder groups through negotiation and influence, as well as understand commercial drivers, financials and industry variables are key to this role.
