Overview
The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being South Australia’s largest maternity and obstetric service, and statewide Maternal Fetal Medicine service.
Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.
The Paediatric Chronic Pain Service , with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, provides coordinated outpatient and community management of children and young people with chronic pain.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Chronic Pain team as a Medical Consultant, MD2 on a 12-month contract , working in a part time capacity.
As a Chronic Pain Medical Consultant, you will be responsible for;
The delivery of high-quality children’s chronic pain medical services Contributing to education and research within the Unit Encouraging and supporting teamwork amongst staff for optimal clinical service outcomes Provide clinical leadership to facilitate and support a team approach to the provision of paediatric chronic pain clinical services via the multidisciplinary teamTo find out the specifics, including the key selection criteria and special conditions , please go to the attached role description.
