About the role and team

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join our high performing Smarter Recovery Solutions practice. The Smarter Recovery Solutions team is a specialised team in our Dispute Resolution team who act for a large number of clients and manage a high volume practice providing advice and solutions in relation to debt recovery.

We are seeking a full-time and experienced Paralegal to work with our busy team in managing their own debt recovery files (with supervision).  The successful candidate will need to be familiar with court processes and documents, have good practice management skills including managing their own billable time.  This is exciting role will have direct contact with our clients and will be highly motivated, organised and efficient and work cohesively with our great team.

About you

You will ideally have the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a paralegal (managing files end to end);
  • experience in court processes and procedures;
  • experience in bankruptcy and winding up applications (ideal but not essential);
  • highly organised and ability to prioritise competing tasks;
  • strong attention to detail; and
  • clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal).
