Our client is an innovative trading firm offering fantastic staff benefits and career mobility opportunities.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the product control & valuations team in Sydney on a full-time basis in a flexible setting (3/2 split).

You will be responsible for:

  • Producing and reviewing the daily PnL for the firm's Derivatives trading activities
  • Providing analysis on trading activities, valuations and price testing, liaising closely with traders
  • Taking on ad-hoc project work linked to continuous improvement measures in finance, utilising SQL/VBA/Python
  • Independent Price Verification for Options products

This is a high calibre yet enjoyable and relaxed environment where a large emphasis is placed on collaboration and teamwork. 

You will possess:
   

  • 3+ years Product Control or Valuations experience for Options / Derivatives
  • Experience with Data tools such as SQL, VBA or Python
  • CA/CPA or CFA qualification
  • Sold understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent verbal communication & stakeholder management skills 
  • Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills
