About TSU:

The Transition Support Unit is a state-wide service that provides rehabilitation and recovery focussed support to people experiencing mental illness and intellectual disability, in a medium/long term residential care setting.

About the role:

The Allied Health NDIS Senior Clinician will contribute discipline specific knowledge and skill to the multidisciplinary team in providing recovery focused care to consumers. The role involves provision of assessment and clinical interventions, active liaison with community service providers and care coordination to support consumer engagement with community and discharge planning.   

About you:

You will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You are someone who wants to make a difference for patients; you’ll bring energy and drive to your work.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in relation to assessment, care planning and provision of clinical interventions (specific to discipline – OT or Social Work)
  • Knowledge and experience in consumer centred care; supported decision making; and the recovery model
  • A keen interest in working in a specialist dual disability service
