Req ID: Department: WS&T Executive Office Division: Talent & Culture Location: Melbourne

About Us

At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive, driven by a common goal: to improve the financial wellbeing and sustainability of our millions of customers.

About the Role

As Senior Manager, Workforce Analytics in our Workforce Strategy & Transformation Team, you’ll play a key role in helping us become trusted advisors and delivery partners to T&C and the business, through a strategy led, data informed, and people enabled approach to workforce strategy and transformation.

As owner and lead of the workforce analytics discipline, this senior role will be responsible for helping lead the development of ANZ’s workforce analytics processes, systems and people and overseeing the professional development of members of the programmatic workforce analytics team. This position is required to drive continuous improvement and capability in workforce analytics (as well as in efficient reporting delivery, working closely with the Reporting Delivery Lead as required).

Beyond the ownership and development of the specialist discipline, the role will have oversight to ensure appropriate application of the discipline for quality outcomes, whilst supporting the Head of Workforce Strategy & Analytics to prioritise, resourcing allocation and decision making as it relates to delivery and value creation in the business.

The role will have multi-horizon objectives:

The first horizon (immediate) is to ensure the continued timely and quality production of our core reporting and insights to the Board, Executive Committee, Business Managers, People Leaders, and T&C Product Owners (whilst working on the efficiency of our delivery, including exploiting more automation); The second horizon will be to realise the benefit of our shift to cloud based workforce analytics; The third horizon will be to shape and mature our approach to workforce analytics, including the use of more diagnostic analysis, complex problem-solving, and utilising advanced analytics for more high value business outcomes.

Banking is changing and we’re changing with it, giving our people great opportunities to try new things, learn and grow. Whatever your role at ANZ, you’ll be building your future, while helping to build ours.

Role Type: Permanent
Role Location: This role is open to either Melbourne or Sydney based candidates
