Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand. Our clients are the owners and operators of assets that are critical to our local communities.

Ventia operates and maintains the Emergency Alerting System (EAS) for the State of Victoria, which is utilised by emergency service organisations including Country Fire Authority, State Emergency Services, Fire Rescue Victoria and Ambulance Victoria.

This Project Coordinator role is a full-time, permanent position that will be working within the project team responsible for operating the abovementioned EAS network.

Whilst the position is based in our Cremorne office, there is some flexibility for working from home by agreement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong written communication skills: Attention to detail in formatting documents, identifying grammatical errors, and ensuring clear communication.
  • Meeting management: Taking meeting minutes and distributing them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Document management: Updating and maintaining documents in SharePoint.
  • Quality audits: Weekly audits of service requests and compliance data within project-specific software systems.
  • Calendar management: Keeping project calendars up to date with project deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with SharePoint is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio for organisational chart creation/amendment.
  • Australian residency status.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a police check.
