We have a permanent opportunity available for an Applications Specialist looking to join the Safety team predominantly based in Melbourne’s South Eastern suburbs. The position will require you to assist our customers on their projects throughout Victoria and Australia and therefore there will be a requirement for you to travel on a regular basis.

Your role:
You will provide services to our customers in line with our Rental Safety Services and Training departments. Providing essential support levels to ensure the safety of employees during the phases of an on-site customer project; your tasks will include the following:
• Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices;
• Collect samples of potentially toxic materials;
• Demonstrate the correct use of safety equipment;
• Assist Investigate incidents and accidents;
• Undertake the assembly and testing of products and equipment;
• Monitor and report on rental stock levels;
• Arrange replacement of rental equipment and ensure adequate levels of consumables are available;
• Source and acquire 3rd party equipment, when required;
• Undertake the maintenance, repair & testing of products and equipment;
• Maintain accurate service records;
• Use experience to continually improve and add value to processes;
• Ensure all service work is conducted in a timely matter; and
• Provide a good, efficient & reliable level of service that promotes Dräger to our customers. 

Who you are:
You will be adaptable to the requirements of our customers and enjoy working autonomously as well as in a team environment. Your experience and skills will be: 
• A positive, can-do attitude;
• Experience in similar position;
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation and diagrams;
• Ability to comprehend technical problems and provides solutions;
• Must be able to perform routine arithmetic calculations;
• Have an understanding of pricing structure & gross margin;
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Proficient in Computer operation and Microsoft applications; and a
• Current Driving Licence.
