Full-time appointments
Limited Term (6-12 months), commencing in February or August 2024

About the role
Applications from ANZCA Trainees are sought for the 2024 HMO year.
12 month terms are preferred, but 6 month terms will be considered.
Applications from trainees who have completed at least Introductory Training will be considered, with preference given to applicants who have completed the Primary Examination.
Appointments are based at Box Hill Hospital, with intermittent rotations to Angliss Hospital and Blackburn Surgical Centre.
Successful applicants will be required to do a rotating roster, which includes after-hours commitments.

Current registration with AHPRA

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.

Selection Criteria
**Essential**: MBBS or equivalent qualification as a medical practitioner
**Essential**: Appropriate medical registration with APHRA
**Essential**: Demonstration of progress towards specialist qualification in Anaesthesia (If Independent Trainee, satisfactory progress in the ANZCA training program, if SIMG appropriate assessment by ANZCA detailing Individual Program and CPA period)
**Essential**: Demonstration of current and appropriate vaccination against infectious diseases, including Influenza and COVID-19.
