Day to day, your role will involve the following core responsibilities:

Operations & Delivery

Monitor and manage day to day running of paid search accounts for clients Ensure all accounts are set-up to adhere best practice & restructure inherited accounts where necessary. Forecast accurately expected performance of campaigns for clients Accountable for end-to-end delivery of performance and biddable campaigns against targets Integrate automation where possible for time saving  Manage the overall client performance media, including client relationship, strategy, efficiency and delivery on time and to budget, always considering the client’s return on investment

Relationship building & Team Management

Build effective working relationships with staff and key clients Regularly communicate with regional counterparts to create synergy in campaign strategy and approach. Establish your position as a thought leader, with demonstrable thought leadership including a deep awareness of biddable and programmatic platforms and industry trends Involvement in global initiatives as part of the wider Performance team Manage and mentor 1-2 team members, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality campaigns and their continuing development as professionals

Strategy & Development

Work with the team to create exceptional paid search strategies, working with the wider Havas Media Account teams Work closely with the AdOps and Analytics team to ensure that all campaigns are being run and tested with the rigor needed to gain appropriate learnings Highlight opportunities for innovation and improvement on the client account through media, marketing, creative, technological or process change Work with Client Services, Account Management and Regional Platform Leads (Search, Social, Programmatic, Display) to identify resourcing needs on a quarterly basis


Ideal candidate Skills, Experience and Attitude:

An experienced and exceptionally talented individual, you will be passionate about digital media. At least three years’ experience within digital media with a track record of leadership Team management experience (with at least 1-2 direct reports) Strong understanding of SEM, performance media and biddable landscape, suppliers and technology Proven experience in running complex and effective performance media and branding campaigns, which exceed client expectations. Demonstrate the ability to present your strategic recommendations to external and internal clients. Strong analytical skills. Able to analyse and draw conclusions from data and comfortable presenting quantitative information in a client context. Eager to learn new concepts and challenge the existing business framework. Effective written communication, presentation, influencing & negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge and experience with third-party companies (Google, Bing, etc) High level of competence with Microsoft Office packages Passionate about biddable media, with a general thirst for digital knowledge and a significant interest in new platforms and channels Passion for excellence Experience in retail is a plus
