Stateliner is a family owned and operated business, which has provided passenger transport services to regional South Australia for over 50 years.
The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, Fully Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic for a Full Time or Casual position at our Mile End Workshop. Duties will include Servicing, Repairs and Maintenance on a fleet of modern Scania Coaches and Light Vehicles in accordance with mandatory maintenance procedures.
COMPETITIVE negotiated remuneration for the successful applicant - we are open for discussions on an agreed rate taking into account experience and qualifications.
Location:
- Mile End South
- Monday - Friday Dayshift
- No Weekend Work
Position requirements include:
- Qualified Mechanic experienced in Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanics.
- HR and Forklift Licences would be an advantage.
- Accurate record keeping.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
- Strong focus and contribution to Workplace Safety.
- Assist with other duties as directed.
The applicant should bring the following to the role:
- Able to take direction and guidance.
- Ability to perform all work to high standards.
- Reliable and able to work a 38 hour week with the possibility of regular overtime.
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Current Police Check.
A Drug and Alcohol Screening with a Pre-Employment Medical will be required for the successful applicant.
Be part of a small experienced team, with a focus on providing safe passenger transport to regional South Australia.
