Heavy Vehicle Technician

The Role
Ventia is currently seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Fitter to support our team working on the Defence maintenance contract. This position involves joining our Vehicle Mechanical Crew, working across the workshop floor to maintain a variety of Defence vehicle fleets.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled servicing and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using knowledge of engines, transmissions, and differentials
- Repair or replace worn or faulty parts by removing and reassembling assemblies
- Carry out minor body repairs and trim repairs to maintain vehicle integrity
Requirements
- Hold a Trade Certificate III as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Fitter
- Hold a Current WA HR Driver's License
- Certificate II Automotive Air Conditioning or willingness to obtain
- Effective communication skills within a team environment
