Role Details

Location: Smithfield
Shift Pattern: Rotating roster, including day and night shifts (6am to 6pm, 6pm to 6am, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off)

As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment while ensuring product quality and efficient production flow.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate and maintain high-speed manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth production.
  • Perform complex mechanical tasks, including component change-outs and fault rectifications.
  • Monitor equipment to meet quality standards and optimize production efficiency.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

What You Will Bring

  • Significant experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in high-speed production.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform complex mechanical tasks.
  • Technical trade qualifications (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to meet production targets while working under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
