Role Overview

This is a senior management position overseeing production operations at our Bathurst Plant, focusing on CTS and Componentry Systems. The role involves implementing and executing Lean-based continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring optimized processes for efficient product manufacturing and timely delivery to customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage production personnel to achieve agreed outcomes through consultative management techniques.
  • Implement and maintain safety, quality, and efficiency processes in production activities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by engaging shop floor staff in sustainable actions that add value to the production process.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including production staff, suppliers, customers, and management.
  • Monitor production progress and ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
About You

You should be a dynamic and results-driven professional with 3+ years of experience as a Production or Manufacturing Manager. Your experience in manufacturing operations, particularly in the building materials industry, and your practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles will be crucial to success in this role.

Key qualifications include strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Production or Manufacturing Manager.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of ASW and BPCS systems (desirable).
  • Experience in the building materials industry (desirable).
  • Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement projects.
  • Strong understanding of OH&S regulations and experience in implementing safety initiatives.
