If yes, then Access Canberra has the job for youThe Procurement and Contracts team at Access Canberra is looking for someone who can lead, with excellent communication and organisational skills to help establish a new team and function for the Agency.
This role requires someone who can make a LEGO dragon, out of a pile of bricks. Someone who can use initiative to proactively design and implement business processes with a focus on progressing organisational strategic planning.
Being able to manage stakeholders and communicate with influence will be key to the success of the role. Using operational insights to progress complex procurement and contract matters in the delivery of quality outcomes will be essential.
The ideal candidate will be someone level-headed who builds confidence and connections with their team, peers, executive and other stakeholders.
Above all, as an Assistant Director in the Strategy, Data and Governance Branch, you will exercise sound decision making, problem solving and efficient workload management on matters of policy, projects and governance.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Experience in Procurement and/or Contract Management is desirable but not essential.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 30 June 2025 with the possibility of extension. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only. Please note, this position is in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers do not have a designated workstation/desk.
