The Porter will be required to provide information about all hotel facilities and be proactive in selling the properties’ facilities. Greet all guests in a courteous manner entering and leaving the hotel and organise transport as required. The loading/unloading of all guest luggage and valet parking/retrieval of guest cars is the responsibility of the Porter.

Conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

Core activities:

  • Welcome and farewell all guests entering and leaving the hotel
  • Delivery and storage of guest luggage
  • Parking and retrieving guest cars
  • Provide information about all hotel facilities as well as room features and amenities
  • Respond to guest enquiries and requests

Preferred Attributes and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar position or customer service
  • Able to drive both Auto and Manual vehicles
  • Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
  • Energized in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
  • Valid work rights essential to be considered for this role
