We wish to complement our existing team with an experienced Leading Hand / Labourer within our Fulton Hogan Utilities business. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to drive your career further, and gain industry relevant experience, with on-the-job skill development/coaching offered throughout. In this role you'll be responsible for:

  • Assist Site Supervisor and take ownership of jobs from commencement to completion

  • Engage, coordinate & manage Fulton Hogan employees and sub-contractors on job sites

  • Communicate with site team to program and track the progress of jobs

  • Attend & contribute to meetings

  • Dispute / issue resolution, as required

  • Ensure all inspections & other relevant documentation is signed off

  • Ensure company HSE policies are followed at all times.

How you'll connect to the role:

  • Building trade / construction qualification or relevant industry experience

  • Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills

  • Ability to build effective relationships & be empathetic to the needs of the client

  • Positive attitude, sound work ethic & self-motivated

  • Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision

  • Valid Driver’s License (MR minimum)

  • Operator tickets and proficiency with Excavator and Telehandler
