Position:

Our client is seeking an experienced admin support to assist their team with the increased workload they are experiencing currently. This opportunity is a temp assignment for 3-6 months, with the possibility of permanency for the right candidate. 

This role is based in Ravenhall, VIC, reporting to the Operations Coordinator, where the client expects the candidate to work 5 days onsite (Monday to Friday) 9AM to 4.30PM. Parking will be available onsite and public transport is not encouraged as the site is far away from PT. 

If successful, you are required to wear PPE - safety boots and clothing onsite at all times.

Responsibilities:  

General Admin duties:

  • Filing paperwork,
  • Uploading documents onto their safety system (myosh), 
  • data entry, 
  • data collection and following up on documents,
  • Assisting with purchase orders
  • Payroll entry onto their system (Kronos)
  • Following up on timesheets 
  • Ad hoc admin duties when needed

Candidate Characteristics:

The successful candidate will possess the below:

  • 2+ years administrative experience 
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite programs
  • Experience in the waste/recycling industry - desired not essential
  • Ability to work with the team and independently
  • Can handle competing priorities
  • Good work ethic, understand importance of turning up to work
  • Commitment to safety
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • High attention to detail
