We are seeking environmental impact assessment practitioners experienced in offshore wind projects, from Principal Consultant to Technical Director/Partner level, to be based in our Melbourne office (hybrid working available).

You will play a leadership role in ensuring that offshore wind and marine infrastructure projects are developed in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner. You will be supported by a large cohort of industry leading technical specialists and environmental professionals, including ERM’s Australian and Global Marine and Impact Assessment Technical Communities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional looking to advance their career level with a global environmental leader.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead EIS/EES projects in marine environments and as an offshore wind specialist. Lead the design, mobilisation, fieldwork coordination and reporting for marine baseline studies, including being a key contributor to safety planning. Manage projects to scope and budget, and ensure team and stakeholder relationships are maintained to an exceptional standard.  Collaborate with technical team leads to develop and deliver superior outcomes for our clients. Support Account Directors in maintaining existing client relationships and develop strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities. Contribute to a positive team culture and mentor junior team members to develop their skills.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

10+ years’ experience in environmental planning and impact assessments on offshore projects, including 5+ years’ experience in environmental consulting – experience in Australia and internationally highly desirable. Excellent project management and project delivery skills, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications. Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders and teams. Tertiary degree in Marine Science, Engineering or a related discipline. Authorisation to work in Australia.
