Inventory Controller

About the Role/Company
This 100% Australian owned company manufactures locally and distributes their products worldwide.  They’re looking for an Inventory Controller/Storeperson to ensure everything runs smoothly.  This is an integral role within the company to ensure that all stock is on board, ready, packed and dispatched to various project sites.  Liaising closely with the Dispatch Manager/Transport Manager and Workshop Foreman is a must to ensure all project timelines are met and completed on budget.

Duties (Snapshot below)

  • Full Job Description available to interviewees
  • Supervise and co-ordinate receipt, storage and distribution
  • of consumables, materials and products
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels
  • Ensure WHS standards are followed
  • Palletising, stacking and strapping as required
  • Loading trucks for transport
  • Ensure electrical equipment is tagged
  • Maintaining a neat and tidy workplace  

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Current driver’s license & forklift license essential
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Truck licence highly regarded but not essential
  • Thorough understanding and respect for WHS processes
  • Pre-employment (drug & alcohol testing) undertaken
