Job Summary

Harvest Pub Operation 2 Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to lead the kitchen team at Victoria Hotel. As a key member of the hotel's culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Your expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and team leadership will be essential in driving the hotel's culinary success.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and develop innovative and seasonal menus that meet the hotel's culinary standards
• Oversee meal preparation and presentation to ensure quality control
• Manage inventory and ordering of food supplies
• Train and develop kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and cooking procedures
• Maintain and enforce food hygiene and occupational health and safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum two years of full-time experience as a qualified chef and certificate IV in commercial cookery (or similar)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
