About the Role

In this position, you will play an integral role in providing day-to-day administration support to the Partner(s) and the wider team, as well as executive support to one or more Partner(s).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administrative support to Partner(s) and the service line:
    • Manage Partner(s) diaries and appointments
    • Support with the preparation of client deliverables
    • Undertake general office management (mail, incoming phone calls etc.)
    • Assist with onboarding activities for new starters
  • Data entry and document preparation:
    • Perform data entry accurately on behalf of the Partner(s)
    • Prepare correspondence including reports and letter
    • Support paperwork for client administration (registrations, lodgements, deeds etc.)
  • Billing and credit card processing:
    • Complete month end billing processes
    • Undertake corporate card/account reconciliations for the Partner(s)
    • Take responsibility for billing and processing invoices
  • Event, meeting and training coordination:
    • Coordinate and book internal & external meetings (including travel arrangements)
    • Coordinate internal service line events
    • Assist with the coordination of client/firm events

About You

We’re looking for a true allrounder, someone who values working as part of a team and is excited to make an impact on the daily operations of our newly established Canberra office.

Your skills and experience may include:

  • Experience in a similar role, either as a Team Coordinator or Executive Assistant
  • Solid proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft office products
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential and/or sensitive information with care
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others within a team environment while also working autonomously
  • Demonstrate initiative and a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others effectively
  • Proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingly participates in or undertakes special projects
  • Experience or interest in Project Management/Support is desirable
