Join Our Team as a Senior Claims Executive

Are you an experienced Claims professional looking for a new challenge? Look no further We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Claims Executive to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the activities of the assigned claims unit and provide support and guidance to Claims Executives.
  • Determine proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate assigned cases.
  • Collaborate and partner with clients to provide superior claims service.
  • Manage, develop, and maintain relationships with Honan Clients.
  • Ensure appropriate information flow within the team and manage expectations both internally and externally.
  • Resolve escalated complaints in a timely fashion.
  • Provide education and training on Honan Processes and Products to key clients.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with brokers and engage when appropriate in managing client communication.
  • Provide ongoing claims and product updates to internal staff.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant Claims management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of strata, property, and legal liability claims.
  • Experience handling technical and complex claims.
  • Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processes.
  • Legal tertiary qualifications (highly regarded).

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
  • High level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Staff development and coaching skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
