About the role

This is a full-time permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.

The Growth and Future Energy (G&FE) division develops and grows Stanwell’s investment in new low or zero emission technologies and energy products, with effective channels to market to ensure the organisation’s long-term sustainability and profitability. These projects will underpin future revenue opportunities in Stanwell’s wholesale, retail, and hydrogen activities.

Reporting to the Technical Manager Renewable and Storage Investment, the Principal Technical Advisor for the Future Energy Investment Team, will play an integral role in providing technical and subject matter expertise to the Stanwell Future Energy Investment team by:

Supporting the development of renewable energy projects by providing general technical advice to review renewable and storage technologies. Reviewing and approving all relevant technical design documentation. Deliver the provision of specialist technical advice to the new energy project investment process.

About you

Experience in renewable and storage assets specifically within the Australian national electricity market (NEM). Knowledge and experience in renewable farm assets – development, construction, operations, and maintenance. Knowledge and experience in technology options assessment and asset management practices, including associated data management and data analysis principles. Project management skills and the ability to progress projects through the development lifecycle.
