Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Facilities and Safety Coordinator for a 12-month Maximum Term Contract. 

In this diverse and busy role your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for all aspects of property management, including help desk management, scheduling, inspections and maintenance.
  • Manage the electronic system for programmed maintenance, ensuring proactive upkeep, scheduling forecasts and adherence to leasing obligations.
  • Review service reports to ensure maintenance activities meet standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate tradespeople for maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure building is compliant and meets OSH standards.
  • Manage team workflow and priorities to ensure completion of required tasks.
  • Develop staff by providing training, coaching, mentoring and guidance to further their skills and experience. 

Qualifications

About You 

  • Strong background in occupational safety and health standards.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in using electronic systems for maintenance scheduling, inspections and asset management.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with a diverse range of contractors, staff, and management.
  • Technical understanding of building maintenance, HVAC systems, and safety protocols.
  • Financial acumen for managing invoices, purchase orders, and budgeting for maintenance activities.
