As our Business Process Specialist - Supply Chain, you’ll be responsible for designing, deploying and implementing our process transformation and digital capability for Mars in ANZ.

You’ll work closely with a number of global functions, primarily Global Supply Chain, Global Engineering and Global DT. 

This role sits within the Australian Supply Chain Team and will be a key contributor to the delivery of the Logistics Acceleration Workstream as part of the ANZ Integrated Supply Chain project (Project Horizon).

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Engage, influence and inspire a wide variety of partners (internal and external) and stakeholders to support the delivery of the Logistics Acceleration transformation for ANZ Supply
  • Develop feasibility studies based on the project workstreams E2E supply chain, Warehouse of the future and Transport transformation.
  • Ensure the design (people, process and technology aspects ) of the digital solutions are robust and fit for purpose.
  • Rigorously manage scope; ensuring commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost and quality tolerances.
  • Manage project financials
  • Deliver alignment and agreement of process standards and performance targets with project stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with business stakeholders to develop a comprehensive plan for deployment and Implementation
  • Establish strong operational partnerships across the wide variety of internal stakeholders and with external parties & consultants to ensure delivery of service, cost optimisation and quality performance levels versus agreed targets.
  • Lead “to be” process sessions and Conduct gap and impact analysis
  • Ensure effective training design & development
  • Develop the Change Management Program needed to ensure process adoption for Long term success
  • Align Stakeholders on Change Management Strategy and ensure their endorsement

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 5+ years Supply Chain (Logistics) operational experience
  • Ideally 2+ years FMCG business process mapping and market engagement
  • Project management skills – Experience with delivering large/complex/cross segment is preferred
  • Strong logical reasoning/Financial/Analytical capability
  • Strong Networking, influencing and interpersonal skills to engage a broad spectrum of stakeholders from all levels.
  • Strong logistics process knowledge (warehousing, transport, international operations etc)
  • Demonstrated systems mindset/literacy ie digitally savvy and very strong learning agility with process and systems – experience with Mars existing systems landscape would be an advantage
  • SAP knowledge (ideally in Atlas/SAP ECC6 or S4/Hana – functional expert or technical level preferred
