The Opportunity:

Come and join our team We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Wangaratta.

You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:

  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
  • Meal assistance which may include meal preparation

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Induvial Support
  • At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Reliable vehicle and an Australian licence

What shifts are we offering?

Client 1:

Monday to Friday

  • 7.30am- 10.30am
  • 7.00pm - 9.00pm

Client 2:

Monday to Friday

  • 24/7 Support

Additional shifts available in the area.
