About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team at InLife Independent Living Ltd. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with physical disabilities, including transfers and the use of equipment, as well as providing personal care and assistance with domestic duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to individuals with physical disabilities, including transfers and the use of equipment
  • Assist with personal care, including showering and dressing
  • Support with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with a care team approach to provide comprehensive support
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Full driver's license and willingness to provide transport for clients
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
