What You Will Do: 

We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer to join us in the ‘Expert Services’ domain within Vista, where we design the experiences that connect Vista customers with professional graphic designers.

Whether it’s getting help from a member of our global freelancer marketplace, or collaborating with an in-house Vista graphic designer, we aim to help customers achieve their business or personal goals with custom professional design. The features and solutions developed in this domain enable customers to collaborate and build lasting relationships with professional designers, enhancing their credibility and confidence.

  • Contribute to the user experience of Expert Services from conception to launch, utilizing user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading designs.

  • Be hands-on at every stage of the design process—from discovery through detailed design, execution, and iteration—creating user flows, wireframes, pixel perfect designs, and prototypes along the way to bring ideas to life.

  • Partner closely with cross-functional team members and collaborators around product problems, solutions, requirements, roadmaps, and priorities.

  • Work with data, consumer insights, and UX research partners for foundational guidance on product direction, and new concept validation.

  • Present concepts to immediate and cross-functional team members with confidence and an open mind to feedback and constructive criticism.

  • Ensure cohesiveness with the Vista design system and marketing brand guidelines.

  • Share and evangelize user-centered design methods across Vista.
     

Your qualifications:

  •  4-8 years of experience designing digital products as a UX or Product Designer, preferably in the B2C e-commerce space.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX and design skills through multiple case studies demonstrating user-centered and innovative design solutions with measurable outcomes for users and the business.

  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross functional peers, including designers, product managers, and engineers.

  • Experience leveraging quantitative and/or qualitative data to inspire simple design solutions and decisions to complex customer and business problems.

  • Passion for designing simple solutions to complex consumer and business problems.

  • Ability to clearly and confidently present design concepts and solutions to a variety of audiences and accept and interpret feedback and constructive criticism. 

  • Understanding of type, hierarchy, color, composition, contrast, and other graphic design fundamentals.

  • Passion for design trends, tools, processes, and methodologies, and a willingness to learn and share new ideas with the team.

  •  Expertise in the latest design software to create high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes.

Nice to have:

  • Relevant degree in field of Design or HCI.

  • B2C e-commerce experience.

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams, and/or in highly matrixed organizations.

  • Experience designing across responsible web and native mobile platforms, as well as within large-scale digital ecosystems.
